Partner Amy Maclear spoke on a California Consumer Litigation Medley panel at the American Bar Association’s Tort Trial and Insurance Practice Section (ABA TIPS) 2023 Motor Vehicle Product Liability Litigation Conference, April 19-21 at the Omni Scottsdale Resort and Spa at Montelucia in Scottsdale, Arizona. The panel covered key developments and issues related to the skyrocketing number of California automotive consumer-fraud and breach-of-warranty cases.

At the Association of Southern California Defense Counsel’s 2025 Annual Seminar in Los Angeles, Amy Maclear and Sabrina Narain presented on “AI in the Practice of Law." Their session examined how AI is being used in litigation today, with a focus on practical use cases, ethical considerations, and risk management for defense counsel seeking to responsibly integrate AI into their practices.

At the California Consumer Defense Symposium in October 2025, Amy Maclear presented on defense strategies in consumer litigation, while Sabrina Narain addressed strategic considerations for engaging with judges in a rapidly rising consumer case landscape.
